bull. I now 3 tattoo artist who take “apprentices” during the busy season just for free labour then tell them there is not enough work to finish the apprenticeship! No one should work for free. you wouldn’t work for free if you were becoming a plumper or carpenter.

this is bullshit i started out of my house doing 20 50 $ tattoos.. with a pro gun 5 years later now i work for land of oz . yes it takes time but doing free tattoos and being someones bitch umm fuck that shit every tattoo i ever did i got paid for

lol he’s right, I’ve been trying to get accepted by this one guy my mom knows and I have to make up a portfolio of my art work/”designs” and he will decide if I’m good enough pretty much. lol!! If i am he said he would take me in. but if I’m not he won’t. it’s exciting. XD

i never did an apprenticeship cause i did not want to be someones bitch!thats why there is a place called prison.but self teaching i have put out some wicked ass shit and i am always making cash now! Tat artists want you to do the apprenticeship so you can kiss their ass so they look important. suck it!!!!!!!!!!

What a discouraging video. Not true at all.Shops are full of assholes that respect you little to none. YOU do need to learn all the basics and read up & practice on pig skin, fruits and such. I’ve never worked at a shop, and I taught myself, not with a home made gun of course. I went out and bought everything i need including sterilizing equipment. Read up on every single detail of every little procedure. You don’t need to be someones bitch to learn. Just watch.read and practice.
