i understand that this tattoo may not be the most technical or detailed. and the Artist may not me the absolute best but everybody has gotta start somewhere. I think except for the uncovered machine, hes doing fine. dont be so critical. If the guy getting the tattoo isint making a fuss why would you guys?

if you give your needle bar a very slight bend in the middle, a horizon curve if you will, your machine will sound more consistent.

the pigment needs to be applied to the base layer of the skin if its applied to the top layer it wont last coz its constantly renewing it self. but of course if you’re stretching the skin properly you wont need to dig in. but there are some areas where you can dig a bit deeper but be careful coz you can puncture muscles and cause some damage so be aware

er sorry no rhyme or reason??? yes there is a reason to start from the bottom so your hand doesnt cancel the the transfer. as you ppl who like to dig the machine in all the way can you post your studio names up so ppl can avoid your terrible technique YOU USE THE NEEDLE TIP. YOU DONT USE ANY DISCERNIBLE PRESSURE AS A NEEDLE GOING AT 20-30 MOTIONS PER SECOND SHOULD EASILY CUT THE SKIN. GOING TO DEEP WILL CAUSE YOUR LINES TO FLAIR UP THE SIGN OF A REAL SHIT TATTOOIST

is he stopping the machine while still in the client’s skin?? sounds like it.

also is the machine supposed to be fully buried deep in the skin to where the tone/sound changes completely?

is it really necessary to kill the outer layer of the skin so bad that it flakes off, just to get the ink in the skin permanently?

    just asking
